pumpkin cookies

last night we had fall dinner so i made these cookies. they don’t really seem like cookies because they are more like cookie shaped bread.
1 can of pumpkin (the smaller of your two options at the grocery store)
1 cup shortening (i used margarine)
1 cup sugar
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 big tsp cinnamon
2 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp vanilla
6 oz. chocolate chips (i actually used most of a 12 oz bag, i’d say 9.5 oz.)
mix it up, bake at 350F for 13 min.
if it seems like you just made weirdly flat cupcakes, you did it right.
